A seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in energy, IoT and SaaS. Wannie has incubated and scaled companies in cleantech and sustainability, delivering three successful exits.
Prior to founding Pado, Wannie was SVP of Business and Corporate Development at Bidgely, a global AI-powered SaaS provider, CEO of Zen Ecosystems, a leading provider of energy management solutions to SMB and SVP of Business and Corporate Development at Inspire Energy, a leading renewables and sustainability company.
Limor Schafman is a seasoned open innovation leader with a proven track record in founding and building companies, organizations and programs from the ground up. She leverages her experience in business, law, virtualized environments, strategy and business development to drive organizational success.
As Director of Strategy at LG NOVA since April 2021, Limor Schafman has been instrumental in establishing this LG Electronics venture innovation unit, shaping the Grand Challenge and its work with startups. She fostered cross-team collaboration among incubation, strategic partnership, corporate development, ecosystem engagement and fund activities. She has led the taskforce for Cleantech new venture initiative since February, 2023, and is excited to be a founder in its market launch.
Prior to joining LG, Limor was a thought leader and prominent speaker in the smart buildings/smart cities industry. She co-founded and led the Telecommunication Industry Association’s Smart Buildings Program. She convened commercial real estate and communication technology experts, co-developing with them the TIA smart building benchmark and certification, Spire™, now managed by Underwriter Laboratories. She was also a contributing member to organizations in this sector, including serving as co-chair of Smart Buildings committees for the Department of Commerce, NIST, Global City Teams Challenge and the Greater Washington Board of Trade, Smart Regions Initiative.
Limor has a deep understanding of the digital and digitized environment, stemming from her work in IoT, mobile and communications infrastructure, theme park, video game, and other technology sectors. Prior to TIA, Limor provided market strategy and business development services to startups in PropTech, telecom/mobile and other sectors through her consultancy, KeystoneTech Group. She introduced clients into new markets, brokering first product sales.
She began her career as an international corporate attorney in Paris, France at the French firm Gide Loyrette Nouel, and in the swaps and options division of Société Générale. Limor is a retired member of the California, New York, and Massachusetts bars. She is a graduate of the Boston University School of Law; the University of Pennsylvania (BA); the UCLA Anderson School Executive Business Program; Cornell University’s Product Marketing Executive Program; and Singularity University’s Exponential Foresight program. She is currently enrolled in the Wharton School Global C-Suite Executive Program. Recognized for her leadership at LG Electronics, she is an alumna of the Leadership Acceleration Program (LeAP).
With over 20 years of experience, Phil Flaherty has led sales, marketing, and operations teams in the Cleantech space. Within large institutional organizations and startups, Flaherty has a proven track record of consultative sales to C-suite and mid-level executives within the complex and evolving energy sector. He has a deep understanding of the impacts and opportunities created by grid modernization, distributed resources and an evolving business model. This knowledge stems from an extensive background in the energy space, including past employers Xcel Energy, Ecova, Engie, Bidgely, Singularity & LG NOVA.
With over 25 years of tech experience, Jun has helped create innovative solutions in biotech and energy. For Pado, Jun is building a proprietary data orchestration platform that will help the grid adapt to the growing demands of AI. Trained as a theoretical scientist, Jun is excited to bring his passion for AI/ML and high performance computing to Pado. Prior to joining Pado, Jun founded ThinkEco in 2008, an award-winning demand response company. ThinkEco's patented technology was the basis of commercial partnerships with leading companies, including Con Edison, GE Appliances, LG Electronics, and Rakuten. Jun has a BA, MA, and PhD (Chemical Physics) from Harvard, and a Professional Certificate in AI from Stanford.
